Production in all industries dippe¥$®¶d 0.4 percent in October from a →₹​€month earlier after sliding 0.8 percen$<€t in the previous month, acco​←rding to Statistics Korea.←♥↓

Samsung's end of production and sales㧣 in its latest Galaxy devices₽↑δ₽ led the production in≥α÷ communication and broadcasting equipme₹& nt to tumble 18.1 percΩ>ent in October.

Auto and chip produc×₹÷δtion advanced 4.6 percent ‍ ☆and 3.8 percent each, but outπ≈put in primary metals declined∞← ® 4.0 percent.

Production in mining and manufa£&cturing industries slump÷ε$✘ed 1.7 percent in Octo÷☆♣​ber compared with the preλ☆ ≠vious month. Manufacturers pos÷∑≤ted a factory utilization rate of≥  70.3 percent, down 1.3 percentage p≤£$oints.

Service industry output inched↑​§♣ down 0.2 percent as transport  σ§industry production declineγ∏≈™d 2.0 percent. It kept♠' a downward trend for two months$± in a row.

Retail sales jumped 5.2 pγ¶ercent in October, marking the highest♠ ♥® growth since December 1995. ₹ It was mainly attri£±λ<butable to the relativel≠'βy steep reduction in the pre≈β★vious month that would prove tσεo be a temporary effect.
